This kitchen has an amazing before and after 🙂 So many people have oak kitchens but replacing them with lighter “painted” cabinets really opens up the space (taking out the upper cabinets above the peninsula really helped with that as well). In this kitchen we took out an unused closet to make a better location for the fridge and pantry. The upper cabinets have doors that lift up instead of swing open and that not only adds an awesome twist to the kitchen but ergonomically works like a dream! Cambria counter tops and subway tile with contrasting grout really finish off the scheme.
