ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This custom kitchen is made of solid pine with soap stone counter tops and a custom copper hood. This client wanted a casual cottage feel with high end finishes.
The deep bronze hardware pops off of the stained pine. The island was painted in with a custom paint colour and then parts of it were hand-sanded off to make it look old and weathered. This also lent to the casual cottage feel.
The pine and teal were brought into the other rooms of this summer home when it came to the rest of the custom cabinets and then we switched it up to a contemporary black for the main upstairs bath and laundry for something different.
